The Armenian Association of Social Workers (AASW) is seeking a qualified and experienced accounting company to provide outsourced accounting and financial management services for its donor-funded projects.

AASW currently implements nine (9) active projects supported by UNICEF, UNHCR, the European Union (EU), BMZ, GIZ, and other international and local partners. The organization ensures transparent and compliant financial management in full accordance with the RA legislation, IFRS for SMEs, and donor financial regulations.

Main Responsibilities

• Maintain project-specific accounting in ArmSoft, ensuring adherence to Armenian laws.
• Prepare daily ledgers and conduct monthly reconciliations with ArmSoft and bank statements.
• Develop monthly internal budgets versus actual expenses for all donors based on ledgers.
• Generate two detailed financial reports each month, with all supporting documentation.
• Submit quarterly VAT certificates to the Ministry of Finance and Economy.
• Assign roles for daily financial operations and oversight: a Financial Professional and a Chief Accountant.
• Collaborate closely with AASW’s Finance, HR, and Procurement teams, working two days a week from the AASW office.

Required Qualifications

- At least 5 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proven experience with NGOs and donor-funded projects (UNDP, UNICEF, UNHCR, EU, BMZ, GIZ preferred).
- Proficiency in ArmSoft and MS Excel.
- Strong knowledge of RA tax and labor legislation.
- Valid state registration and tax clearance certificate.
- Fluency in Armenian (English knowledge is an advantage).
