Baghramyan Community’s Business Management Skills Course Graduation Event

The first group of beneficiaries from the Baghramyan community of Armavir marz successfully completed the "Business Management Skills" course and received certificates.

Within the framework of the "Promotion of Social Inclusion and Self-sufficient Livelihood Activities in Armenia" program implemented by the Armenian Association of Social Workers, the first group of beneficiaries selected from the Baghramyan region of Armavir region successfully completed the "Business Management Skills" course.

 

The graduation event was held on June 8 of this year, and included a certificate handing ceremony in the Shenik community of Baghramyan.

 

World Bank Project Team Coordinator, World Bank Senior Social Protection Specialist Ivan Shulga, World Bank Armenia Office Operations Consultant Vahan Danielyan, President of the Association of Social Workers of Armenia Mira Antonyan, as well as other organization representatives, all participated in the event.

 

Mira Antonyan made the opening speech. She thanked the organization participants for all the work done and congratulated the beneficiaries who had courage and trust to actively participate in, and successfully complete, the course.

 

Ivan Shulga, coordinator of the World Bank Project Team, welcomed the beneficiaries of the Project in his speech. He noted that the results of this pilot project are extremely important, expressing hope that the initiatives of the beneficiaries involved in the Project will reach their desired goals.

 

The head of the project, Ruben Markosyan, also congratulated the first group on their graduation and expressed his gratitude to the partners involved in the work. He emphasized the active involvement of the trainers, and also once again thanked the donors of the project–the Japanese government and the World Ban–for their support.

 

At the end of the event, the participants received their certificates, shared their impressions, and thanked all the benefactors for the opportunities given to them by the Program.
