Program Title: "RISE Armenia: Rehabilitation, Social Inclusion and Empowerment of the Displaced and Vulnerable Population" Project

Project Goal:
The Project aims to improve the social protection system in Armenia for vulnerable populations, including displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh, by building the capacity of social workers and ensuring the availability of new social services such as patronage, social care, and socio-rehabilitation services.

1. Purpose and Scope

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure broad public awareness of the goals, progress, and results of the “RISE – Armenia” program, thereby supporting effective implementation and fostering social change.

2. Scope of Work (Public Relations & Communications Specialist)

• Develop the Program Communication Plan and related content aligned with the program’s goals, activities, and results, including information materials, success stories, analytical articles, videos, and social media content, etc.

• Produce and disseminate program-related materials on the Association’s website and social media pages (Facebook, Instagram), ensuring timely and appropriate responses to incoming messages.

• Participate in the organization and information coverage of program events, including meetings, round tables, and other public events.

• Prepare and disseminate news/publications (on the website and/or through mass media) regarding program components.

• Prepare and submit monthly reports on communication and outreach activities.

• Ensure compliance with communication and donor visibility guidelines; liaise with communications teams of partner organizations.

• Conduct field visits to the program’s target regions to cover and document activities.

• Organize and coordinate the program events calendar and ensure its communication coverage.

• Perform other duties as required by program needs.

3. Qualifications

• University degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in public relations or communications; experience in international programs or the social sector, particularly communications related to vulnerable groups, is preferred.

• Experience in social media management (especially Facebook and Instagram).

• Proven experience collaborating with media outlets and journalists.

• Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

• Excellent command of Armenian; working knowledge of English (spoken and written).
