The purpose of the regional info-sessions is to provide proper information to the relevant officials of the Marzpetaran, the heads of the Unified Social Service regional centers, interested non-governmental organizations and representatives of local self-government bodies about the Project, its goals, stakeholders and planned actions. The role of social workers will be considered in a more detailed way and they will be informed about the training program developed for them.

The Deputy Governor of Armavir Argishti Mekhakyan, who also attended the meeting held in Armavir region, greeted the participants of the meeting, stressed the implementation of poverty reduction programs in the region and expressed readiness for effective cooperation.

The President of Armenia Association of Social Workers Mira Antonyan, presenting the sub-component of professional capacity building of social workers, emphasized the impostance of organizing positive guidance or on-the-job trainings ("coaching"). The social work expert/trainer will not only introduce various professional problems of social case management during the trainings organized in the regions, but also will make an on-the-job training presenting the relevant tools on specific examples.

Project Manager Ruben Markosyan condcuted a detailed presentation about the small business grants component envisaged by the Project, about the actions of beneficiary selection, capacity building phase, as well as further positive guidance of successful businesses.
